Dr. Abdollah Malek has been practicing cosmetic surgery in Newark, Delaware since 1984. He is an attending plastic surgeon at Christiania Care, St. Francis Hospital, Wilmington Hospital and the A.I. DuPont Institute. Dr. Malek is currently a member of:

Dr. Malek grew up in Tehran, Iran. He lived as an exchange student in Wahpeton, North Dakota before returning to Iran and graduating from Tehran University School of Medicine in 1976.
After moving to Wilmington, Delaware, Dr. Malek completed his General Surgery/Plastic Surgery, and Chief Resident/Plastic Surgery residency training in 1983. Dr. Malek then completed a fellowship in head and neck surgery in Houston, Texas before returning to Wilmington in 1984.

The Centre for Cosmetic Surgery is a state-of-the-art facility located in the Abbey Medical Center. Our offices are in a peaceful area convenient to Interstate 95 and less than half a mile from Christiania Hospital on Route 4. We strive to create a calm, serene, and private environment designed to help you feel relaxed and at ease. The third floor of our building is equipped with a medical spa, and we offer the latest in medical technology to ensure the most accurate and beautiful results you can receive.

Fees and Insurance
Costs of plastic surgery depend on the type of procedure received and the complexity of the operation, among other factors. Fees are usually paid prior to surgery. Most cosmetic plastic surgery procedures are considered elective surgeries and are therefore generally not covered under insurance plans. However, there are exceptions. Some operations, such as breast reduction and breast reconstruction, may be covered by insurance. Check with Dr. Malek to find out if your procedure could be covered by insurance.
