DIANE CHALFANT: Laser hair removal is considered permanent hair removal. Permanent hair removal is a very generic word especially in females with hormone levels and stuff, there is no guarantee. Most people arrange between 6 and 12 treatments. It only works on dark pigmented hair. Somebody with a blonde, or a gray, or white hair, it is not the choice for them to use. Treatments kind of feel a little bit like a rubber band sting. They go about it really fast, there is no downtime, you just do not want to have a lot of sun exposure before or after a treatment.

Laser vein treatment is great these days instead of having injectables. Injectables are still used at times with laser. You can target smaller veins, larger veins. Treatments are done once about every four weeks and depending on the size of the vein, your skin type will determine how many treatments are needed.

The lasers that we use for laser hair removal and vein removal is called a Kendell Regenomax [phonetic] which is nice because it is for all skin types. All colored veins whether red, blue, or purple so you do not have to jump back and forth between lasers. We can target any vein size and it has minimal pain along with it. It is one of the newest technologies out. And we are getting wonderful results with it.
